Brittain's love of storytelling through film and photography started at a young age, listening to her father's scuba diving adventures and going through his underwater photographs taken throughout the '70s & '80s in Australia and around the South Pacific. She is currently working on her Master Scuba Diver certification and is particularly drawn to diving in closed underwater cave systems.
Brittain's film career started in Los Angeles while she was attending school studying marine biology. When the jobs started coming in faster than anticipated, she decided to leave school and study film hands-on while working with production companies such as HBO and Viacom creating broadcast content.
In 2017, Brittain relocated to the Tibetan Plateau where she lived for a year in a village of 300 people, working with a sustainable textile company and helping to evolve their digital presence through creative storytelling via film and photo. Since Tibet, Brittain has worked in 15+ countries with brands and individuals throughout Asia, Europe, North and Central America creating short films about humanitarianism, culture, food, art, and exploration. She currently lives in Northern Italy documenting the incredible mountain landscapes and alpine culture.- Current Events
